Both traditional (body) and
auricular acupuncture have their
origins in China and date back
over 2000 years.
Acupuncture points can be seen as
"triggers" which if stimulated send electrical
impulses to the targeted area. If you were
being treated for Sciatica for example, the
Sciatica acupoint would be stimulated, this
would then treat the Sciatic nerve.
The acupuncture points can be stimulated
by needles, small electrical currents, press
studs or press needles.
Auricular acupuncture will not cure your
condition, but it will relieve the symptoms,
take the pain away and stop the
